Bon Marche thrift store was developed to help communities help each other. We felt a need to create an environment where our work would make a difference both at home and overseas. "Bon marche" means a "good deal" in French. "Bon Marche" was the name of Anna's store in Kigali, Rwanda, when she was growing up. Everything in our stores is good quality and truly affordable, generally around one dollar! We sell clothing, books, household items and collectibles. New merchandise is displayed every day.
Bon Marche is a unit of Kigali Center for Entrepreneurs (KCE). KCE's mission is to help poor women start businesses and help themselves out of poverty. It uses both interest free Micro Loans and Micro Investments, all from under $1,000.
